Why Pigeon Control?

Pigeons can cause a great deal of damage to a building or structure as well as carry any of 60-transmittable diseases. When the birds decide to take residence on your building or structure, they leave behind their feces, which is very acidic and will quickly erode building materials.

There have been several cases where structures have collapsed due to the build-up of pigeon droppings, making it a dangerous situation for those nearby. When pigeon droppings are left to dry near building A.C. units and vents, the dry particles may be pulled into building ventilation and inhaled by those working in the building; this can lead to serious illness.

Are pigeons dirty?

  Despite the social perception as dirty and disease-ridden, pigeons are actually very clean animals and there is very little evidence to suggest that they are significant transmitters of disease. Pigeons and humans have lived in close proximity for thousands of years.

Why should we not feed pigeons?

Pigeons will hang out where there is food opportunities. Pigeon excreta contains certain strains of the bacteria E. coli (Escherichia coli), which when introduced in the food or water supply, may lead to illnesses, making pigeons a regular carrier of these diseases.
